Denny was unexpectedly and suddenly stricken with a heart attack on
Saturday, December 19, 2009 while attending a family Christmas gathering
at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Karen Jo and Tim.
He was rushed to Region's hospital where he passed away
peacefully at 10:59 A.M. on December 21st, surrounded by his wife Bonnie
and other family members. He had never regained consciousness.
Denny is survived by his wife of seventeen years Bonnie Jo Stokes and children Nathan,
Emily and Karen Jo. He also leaves behind two beloved grand children
by Karen Jo and Tim; best buddy Jared and baby brother Noah.
Denny is also survived by his sister, Rebecca.
Denny was an
avid musician and photographer and played
guitar in a band. He was loved by many and is missed by us all.
